Gang Rules

I. General Gang Rules

1. Respect the Server Rules

Gangs are required to follow the overall rules and guidelines of the Genx Roleplay server. This includes strict prohibitions against hacking, cheating, harassment, and explicit content. Noncompliance with these rules may lead to penalties, which can include temporary or permanent bans affecting the entire gang.

2. Gang Formation

Gangs must follow the server's establishment policies, which could include submitting an application, fulfilling requirements, or getting server administrators' consent. Gangs that are not registered or allowed may be expelled or subject to other punishments.

3. Gang Cooldown

A cooldown period of up to 4 days applies in main gang situations.

3. Roleplay Integrity

Gang members are expected to prioritize realistic and immersive roleplay by staying in character, avoiding metagaming (using out-of-character knowledge for in-character actions), and fostering meaningful interactions with other players. Gangs should develop credible storylines and backgrounds for their characters while striving to maintain immersion in the roleplay experience.

4. Non-Excessive Violence

Although gang activities may involve violence, it should be practiced in moderation and adhere to the server's guidelines. Excessive or indiscriminate violence, including constant killing sprees or random attacks on innocent players, is strictly prohibited. Gangs should concentrate on meaningful conflicts, rivalries, and engaging storylines instead.

5. Gang Territories

If the server permits gang territories, it is essential to respect the designated areas and their boundaries. Do not invade or encroach upon another gang's territory without appropriate roleplay justification or prior agreement. Territorial disputes should be settled through discussions, roleplays, or server-approved activities.

6. Communication Channels

Make use of the appropriate communication channels provided by the server for gang-related activities, including in-game chat, voice chat, or any designated platforms. Avoid using external communication tools to gain an unfair advantage or to circumvent server rules.

7. OOC Communication

Out-of-character (OOC) communication should be minimized during gang-related activities. Reserve OOC discussions for emergencies, technical issues, or clarification of rules.

II. Gang Recruitment

Gangs must adhere to the server's guidelines for recruitment, avoiding players with a history of rule-breaking or disruptive behavior. Foster diversity within your gang by considering various character backgrounds, skills, and personalities. Respect Admins and Staff In both Discord and in-game, show respect to server administrators and staff members, as they are responsible for maintaining a fair and enjoyable environment for all players. If you have concerns or issues, address them appropriately and avoid confrontational or disrespectful behavior. Violating this rule may result in a 10-day ban without the option to appeal.

III. Gang Situation

When creating gang situations, we adhere to the current rules for determining the size of the situation, which are essential for establishing how these scenarios are structured: In the case of a hostage situation, the opposing gang must ensure that the group to which the hostage belongs consists of at least 7 players. The gang initiating the hostage-taking may start with fewer than 7 players but is responsible for increasing their numbers to 7 before the situation concludes. The hostage situation officially begins when the hostage is taken and ends upon their release. Any subsequent roleplays (RPs) that occur during this period are classified as following RPs.

V. Police vs. Gang Situation Size

For police engagements, a minimum of 7 officers is required, up to the maximum number of active GCPD officers available at that time. For gang members, the minimum is 5 and the maximum is 15 members.

VI. Gang vs. Civilian Situation Size

In scenarios involving gangs and civilians, the maximum number of civilians allowed is 10 and minimum is 4. Gang Members must have a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 15.

VII. Gang House breaching

Gang house breaching is a vast concept and should be done through a series of Roleplay.

  1. A gang house breach can only happen after a gang meeting and if the opposing gang refuses to fight. Players from the targeted gang cannot leave the city after the breach is announced, as this is an active situation and will be seen as FRP.

  2. During a gang breach, defenders can only hold positions inside their gang house. They are allowed to rotate within the external boundary. This means that fights should only occur inside the gang house and its immediate surroundings. Random killings in the city, claiming to be part of the breach, are considered Random Deathmatch (RDM).

  3. Before breaching a gang house, the attacking gang must announce the breach in their gang chat and wait 10 minutes. This allows time for the defending gang to prepare.

  4. During a gang house breach, only 15 members from each side are allowed, and a total of 6 gang vehicles can be used (including helicopters).

  5. During a gang house breach, dead players must respawn immediately. Not doing so will be considered as FRP.

  6. If the attackers win the gang breach, they must leave the gang house area within 15 minutes. During this time, the defending gang cannot attempt to reclaim the house, or that will be considered as FRP.

  7. A gang house breach can only be conducted if there are 7 or more members in the gang at that time.
